Turning 28 last week left me feeling excited and I have to admit a little strange. I am defiantly an over thinker and always find myself worrying about things that have not even happened. Sometimes I have to remind myself of how far I have come personally to reassure myself. With every year I feel like I know a little more about myself and where I want I want my future to go and that no matter where each year leads me, Everything will be OK.
This year My birthday was truly magical and I am hoping this was just the beginning to an exciting year for me. I feel like celebrating a birthday is a great way to turn over a new leaf and to immerse yourself into a fresh new start.
Trust the magic of new beginnings.
Pretty Floral Dresses
This summer I have fallen in love with pretty florals, but not just any florals it’s that New Romantic kind of floral which appear to have a vintage feel to them.
These delicately vintage prints are adorning dresses and accessories everywhere and I was determined to work them into my wardrobe this year and what better time to try something new than on my birthday.
I love wearing a dress as they are simple to style. Slipping on a gorgeous Summer dress is my absolute go-to for an effortless cool look. I find dresses not only easy to wear, but they are incredibly versatile with a swift change of shoes and accessories they can easily be adapted for day or evening wear.
I could not believe my eyes when I came across this pretty floral dress in Penneys. (Primark.) This dress featured a flower and stem patterning across the chest area and an uniquely vintage tie around the wrist area. The dress has a floaty bohemian vibe that I adore. I then paired this dress with a pair of blush pink stilettos also from Penneys. These shoes have a soft suede touch with a sophisticated finish.
I celebrated my birthday in The Europe Hotel & Resort in Killarney this year and I am already counting down the days untill I can visit again.
