It has been a year since I did a post on my self tanning.Since my last post I have changed my tanning regime and what products I use. This will be a two part blog post. Part one being how I prep my skin. Part two being what tan I use and I how I apply it.
I like to apply my self tanner at night and rinse it off in the morning so I get deep summer glow. Before applying my tan I will shower using an exfoliate body wash. I have been loving this skin invigorating shower gel from Crabtree and Evelyn. It is a gentle yet deep shower gel that treats your skin, leaving it feeling refreshed and conditioned. It has a zesty scent that awakens your senses. This collection features an antioxidant and vitamin C – rich Tarocco Sicilian red orange, invigorating eucalyptus, and soothing sage to refresh and deodorise your skin.

Then I also like to use a deep scrub focusing on my knees, knuckles, ankles and elbows. It is also important to use a deep scrub to remove any old tan before applying a new layer. This avoids getting a tan build up that will leave you with the dreaded scaly look. I have being loving this deep cleansing body scrub from Crabtree and Evelyn. I apply it to damp skin in a circular pattern then rinse it off. This scrub is one of the best I have ever used. It is jam packed to the brim with exfoliate beads, perfect for deep body scrubbing. This scrub has a delicious scent of orange ,bergamot and neroli with herbaceous accents.
