La vie est belle a French expression – ( Life is beautiful.)
Autumn is my favorite time of the year, there is something about the golden season that makes me feel happy and at peace. Autumn is my favorite time to go for refreshing walks and hit the parks with Dylan and Polly. It makes me appreciate the beauty of nature that little bit more around this time of year. Changing my scent with seasons is something I enjoy. Lancôme launched their newest campaign with Julia Roberts for the newest scent La Vie Est Belle. This Eau De Toilette is wreathed in light and warmth with a touch of vanilla and undertones of musk.
Let’s chat about the bottle design
This Eau De Parfume bottle was designed by Catherine Krunas. It has a crystal effect that is stretched to reflect all of the sparkle. It also features an unique preppy pink neck tie that I simply adore. The parfume itself has a light pink colour in shade. The pink shade comes from one of the freshest ingredients the incisive pink pepper. If like me you enjoy collecting charming perfume bottles this dainty crystal bottle will fit right into your collection.
A perfume is something which is invisible and yet an unforgettable accessory.
An explosion of sparkling and zesty notes
The main ingredients in La Vie Est Belle is Mandarin, grapefruit, Bergamot and pink pepper, elegantly infused with tea accord.
The second tier of ingredients is joyfully sprinkled with sparkling notes of Neroli essence and orange blossoms.
The base ingredients are brightened by a new woody amber, with soft breath of musk. This infusion is exquisite and addictive.
This scent is perfect if you are looking for a new Autumnal scent without going too dark and heavy. I found this perfume to be refreshing and sweet with a warm buttery undertone. It is long lasting without being overpowering. It is the definition of elegance. It is easy to see why Juila Roberts was the face for this campaign.
