Catrice Cosmetics Haul

This haul is long overdue, but this is one of my most favorite blog posts to write. Catrice Cosmetics have revamped their packaging this season and I LOVE it. It looks super chic and streamline. I have been trying out some products for the past few weeks from their new Summer 2018 collection and I have finally narrowed it down to my favorite, must have products.

Colour correction

Retouch Pens

These colour correction pens are a returning favourite product . I think these are fantastic and are great to have in any makeup bag! These pens offer 18 hour of moisturizing. The design of the pen makes application super quick, easy and precise. These retouch pens by Catrice are a great dupe for the Touchè Èclat highlighting pens at a fraction of the price.

  • Brightening Concealer –Colour correcting lavender concealer that optically balances yellow skin patches and brightens dull skin.

  • Anti – Red Concealer –Colour correcting green concealer that optically neutralizes skin redness.

This colour neutralizer matifying powder, creates the perfect balance finish. You can swirl your brush through all the shades together or use specific shades to tackle unbalanced skin tones.

  • Green – Neutralizes redness

  • Yellow and peach – corrects dark spots

    • Lavender – Brightness skin

California in a box – Bronze and Blush palette

This palette has 2 matt bronzing shades, 1 pearly and 1 matt blush shade. It also features a special effect top coat highlighter that creates a healthy sunkissed glow. This palette is from the Malibu beach collection and the shades reflect this. With copper and under tones of red this palette is perfect to add to your makeup collection for Summer 2018.

My secret to golden dewy skin

I am obsessed with these two products. Say hello to Galactic highlighter drops and Light correcting serum primer. If you pick up any products from this haul make sure it is these two! There are two ways you can use these highlighting drops. Option 1 mix a few droplets into your favourite foundation to brighten your base and give yourself a dewy finish. Or option 2, apply it directly to highlight your cheekbones. Simply finish by dusting your favourite highlighting powder over it, to really make it pop!

This is my holy grail product. This Light correcting serum primer adds a fresh dewy glow to my skin, that I’ve never had from any other product. There is also two ways I like to use this. Option 1 apply it all over my skin before my foundation and blend it in with my kabuka brush. It gives my skin a sunkissed glow. Or option 2, I apply it on it’s own and dust it with finishing powder. Although it does not have any coverage it brings my skin to life and adds a light bronzed finished.

My holy grail product

Instant glam

You may have noticed during weekdays I don’t tend to do elaborate eye makeup. I am usually running out the door and usually just apply one shade all over and mascara and I am good to go. When I seen this palette came with a sponge applicator brush I have to admit to wondering – does anyone still use these anymore? But little did I know this brush is designed to make your eyeshadow application super quick and effortlessly. It picks up the two shades and makes it easy to create a gradient of two shades on your eye lid with one swipe across. This palette has matched perfectly 4 due eyeshadows that can be used day and night

Anti – Shine Fixing spray
Once finished I set my makeup with this anti shine fixing spray. It keeps my makeup in place all day. On warmer days I also like to keep this in my handbag for top ups throughout the day as it also refreshes my complexion. It leaves my skin feeling hydrated with a matte finish. If you are looking to keep your makeup in place for the day or night this is the perfect setting to add to your makeup bag this summer.

Thanks so much for stopping by.
