I have this amazing platform to be able to speak to you all so I like to try share informative and helpful articles. Becoming a more positive and stronger person meant I needed to change my entire mindset. It wasn’t like one day I woke up and saw the world through new eyes. It takes time and small changes everyday, that lead to big changes. We all have to start somewhere and I began by thinking like the type of person I wanted to become.

Every day wake up with the opportunity to renew, refresh and reset.I used to feel LIFE dealt me an unlucky hand, the grass was always greener on the other side and I was simply never content with the life I was given. I had to lose it all to realise what a beautiful existence life really was. From there I changed my outlook to love every minute of my life even when it feels like it doesnt love me quite as much back. Think like the person you want to become.

Push yourself to do more. Do not accept a life of average. Work hard, train hard and be the best that you can be

Be good to yourself

Learn to treat yourself with respect and care. You deserve it, trust me! I feel at my best when I am taking care of myself, mind and body. Drinking lots of water and eating food that will energise and nourish my body. I am a ‘writing lists’ kinda girl. I love making lists for everything. Whether it be for a shopping list,a goal list it or a to do list. It keeps my mindset on the goal in question. Keeping on top of your life will give you incredible control and satisfaction.

The small things in life

Continually chasing the bigger picture, means its easy to forget to appreciate those small little things in life. Most of the time it is the things in life we take for granted, are the very same things we prayed and wished for before. Every night I feel grateful and lucky to have a roof over my head, that my family are safe and warm and that we are in good health. The problem is we glorify the wrong things and take the right things for granted. This can be something as simple as the smell of your first coffee brewing in the morning, hearing “I love you’’ or ‘’I’m happy” from my son or being lucky enough to be surrounded by family. After living in the Canary Islands for 6 years I now love been able to visit my grandparents and appreciate been able to simply call for a chat or been able to ask them advice. These tiny moments and experiences for so many aren’t possible, so I absorb every last drops of life’s great pleasures.

Create a positive and happy environment

Surround yourself with good people rather than a lot of people. I like to keep my circle small but with people that add to my life not take. If someone is bringing negativity into your life, drama or sadness then you really need to consider what importance they bring to your life. Once you learn how to be happy you won’t tolerate being around people who make you feel anything less. The environment in which you create is just as important.When my home,car or even my handbag is a mess I feel that resonates with me and I feel my stress levels rise. I like to keep my environment, organised and decluttered as much as possible. Create a safe space that makes you feel calm, collected and productive.

Embrace and learn

It will never be all rainbows and sunshine, tough times exist in everyone’s life. We all go through them. Without them there would be no differentiating the good from the bad. What is important is how we deal and cope going through these hard times. Remember that life’s greatest lessons are usually learned at the worst times and from the worst mistakes. Reminding yourself of how incredible life was before, and just how incredible life can and will be again.

There is always a reason to smile – find it
Smiling is infectious and there’s no denying it. Much like positivity breeds positivity so you can expect to see a whole lot more of that too just by smiling more. I use to be the girl that point blank refuse to smile in photos purely for feeling insecure. I’ve grown, matured and learned to love myself for being me. Now I am the one in photos with the biggest cheesiest grin slapped across my face. As I said smiling is infectious and I love spreading it to other people.

Today is the perfect day to be happy

The law of attraction
I started 2018 reading the law of attraction and it has completely changed my outlook on life. I am becoming the energy I want to attract.
When you think, you become.

When you feel, you attract.

What you imagine, you create.

Every night before you fall asleep, give heartfelt thanks for the wonderful day you just had. I like to think about the next day and intend that it is going to be just as wonderful. I like to think that it is going to be the best day of my life filled with love and joy. Intend that all good will come to you and everything is going to flow perfectly. Then when you wake in the morning, BEFORE you get out of bed, again declare your intentions for the day and give deep thanks as though you have received them all. As you do this you will begin to create your life deliberately, and you will experience first hand the power that is within you create the life you want.
