Beep Beep Xposé is rolling into your town the email read. Bloggers across the country screeched with excitement! Xposé is known for setting the beauty and fashion trends across Ireland, interviewing Irish celebrities and stars on the red carpet. Xposé teamed up with one of my favourites skincare and beauty brands and that is of course Vichy for a whistle stop tour of Ireland. It stopped in Dublin, Cork, Wexford, Limerick and Galway. Xposé viewers also had the chance to win beauty treatments on board whilst it was stopping in your location. I was delighted to have been invited to an exclusive bloggers breakfast while it stopped in my hometown Limerick.
All aboard the Xposé Beauty Bus
Friday morning bloggers from Limerick got a sneak peek inside the double decker bus. The bus was pimped out featuring every girls dream makeup station, a skin diagnosis station and a mini facial station. If you have been following my blog for awhile you will know I am a massive fan of Vichy products. From their skin care to beauty. Vichy and myself began our love affair, four years ago and I have not looked back since. I was like a kid a Christmas being surrounded by some of Vichy’s most iconic and newly launching products. I found myself becoming the self acclaimed spokesperson for Vichy on board, as I spoke about each product on display, even if nobody asked me. When I feel passionate about a product I find it hard to control myself. The Xposé beauty bus was to focus on health, revitalizing and well being. I was imaging the xposé team travelling around the country like beauty gurus on a tour bus ready to cleanse, tone and moisturize at any given moment.
Shout out to all the Makeup I haven’t bought yet… I’m coming for you.
Vichy spoilt us with extremely generous goodie bags jam packed with some of my favourite and new products. Including their new Idealia Peeling Liquid Essence ( which I featured on my blog a few weeks ago Here ) One Step Micellar solution which I also featured Here ) and some brand new products to add to my collection – Vichy Slow Age Fluid care and Aqualia Thermal Dynamic Hydration Serum which I am super excited to try out.
Lets rule the world but first, let’s have breakfast
As you can imagine having the Xpose beauty bus parked outside the Cresent Shopping center created a buzz of excitement throughout the town. Nobody could help themselves but to have a sneak peek in and capture the candid quick selfie walking past. Upstairs was filled with an array of healthy options for us to choose from. Fruit pots, yoghurts, protein balls and granola was laid out. This gave us time to relax and fill up on a healthy breakfast while chatting to one another. It was nice to meet with so many bloggers from Limerick and to find out more about their blogs, passions and creativity.
Always go with the choice that scares you the most, because that is the one that is going to help you to grow.
When bigbrowsmessyhair.com turned 1 last summer, I wrote down all my blog goals for 2017. One being to get on Xposé. Never in a million years did I think it would happen, but hey you have to dream big! So you can imagine my excitement, to not only be interviewed for Xposé but interviewed by the one and only Glenda Gilson. I was super nervous, I’m not going to lie. My hands and legs were shaking but I think I managed to hide it just long enough to get me through the interview. We chatted about why Vichy Dermablend has been my favourite foundation for the past four years and what three products I couldn’t live without. After my interview Glenda gave me a big hug and told me I did great. It was fantastic to meet her and I had to admire how she just simply oozed confidence and elegance. Keep an eye out for it to broadcast on Xposé at 8.30pm on TV3. (Monday 5th June)
A huge thanks must be given to the incredible team at TV3 Xposé and Vichy Ireland for providing us with this amazing experience, and hoping it will be first of many.
