Along with transitioning my wardrobe I also like to transition my handbags ready for the Summer. What I carry along with me changes from season to season. I have been wanting to do this style blog post for some time now. As a guilty pleasure of mine, I love watching ‘What’s inside my bag?’ videos on YouTube and have been looking forward to doing one myself. So let’s jump right in and see What inside my bag? – Summer edition.

Institut Karite Paris Hand cream.

A hand cream is must for me, no matter what the season. This delicate hand cream will captivate each of your senses. This hand cream is enriched with Shea butter. I love that it is light and non greasy which means it quickly absorbs into the skin for delicately scented soft hands. It has an ever so light scent of talc powder that I simply adore.

Uriage Deodrant 50ml

This 50ml roll on deodorant is a compact size to fit into your handbag. I like how this deodorant provides 24 hour anti – perspirant. It is beautifully scented with a much different scent to your typical store brand deodorant. It leaves you feeling extremely refreshed with a clean fresh cotton scent. This deodorant is alcohol free and does not leave any white marks on your skin or clothes.

Artistry Illuminating CC cream
During the Summer I like to let my skin breath when I can. My secret weapon to giving me the confidence to going makeup free is having Illuminating CC cream on hand. This tinted CC Cream from Artistry enhances your skin with clarifying colour correction that brightens primes and perfects the look of your skin. I love that this CC cream can be worn with a foundation too. This tinted illuminating CC cream acts like an upgrade to a tinted moisturiser. It also shields skin against harmful UVA \ UVB rays with SPF 50 ++++ Which is the perfect necessity for every glam girls skin this Summer.

Artistry Perfecting Concealer.

Having a concealer stashed in my bag for touch ups is a must. This concealer has seriously strong staying power, no matter the activity, heat or humidity. I like that this formula is fragrance free, water resistance, oil free and safe to use around the eye area. It is suitable for all skin types, dermatologist – tested and won’t clog your pores. The sleek packaging provides a little mirror along the side, making it perfect for touch ups throughout the day.

The necessities

I don’t tend to usually bring an entire makeup bag out with me for the day. Usually just a few beauty products like above , I also have my everyday necessities popped in too which include :

  • My phone ( I would be lost without it)

  • Michael Kors purse (in the shade tan.)

  • Mini pink hair brush from Penneys.

  • Tom Ford sunglasses ( Separate blog post coming soon!)

  • Lipstick and Liner. At the moment I am loving this matte Mac lipstick in the shade Twig and Mac lipliner in the shade Soar.
  • LA Roche – Posay Thermal water. Perfect for keeping me cool and refreshed with one spritz.

My red eye catching satchel is a statement within itself. This bag is from Dune London Whether I am in line in the supermarket or wearing it cross body casually through the town, she demands attention wherever we go. It features a large pocket at the back with two compartments, that close by a gold hardware zip. It also Features a smaller front pocket to keep your phone or Keys etc. This is a strong sturdy bag, that will keep it’s shape no matter what you carry. I love how easy and comfortable it is to wear. It is also very easy to keep Organized!

I would love to know if you enjoyed this style blog post and what are your handbag necessities for the Summer months?
