I like to switch up my makeup bag in accordance with the seasons. I seek out that sought after summer glow. Artistry have released a limited edition Pacific lights collection. The collection includes a sun kissed 3D face powder, an eye catching sunrise eyeshadow quad and light up lip gloss ( which comes in five summer ready shades) This collection is inspired by the natural beauty of the beach and fronted by global makeup artist Rick DiCecca.

I was very kindly sent the eyeshadow quad, blush and two shades of their light up lip gloss to review. When I first opened the parcel, I was blown away with how nice the packaging alone was. It is simply beautiful and elegant. If like me you are a sucker for pretty packaging you will adore and appreciate the Artistry packaging. The blush and the eyeshadow quad both come in boxes and inside there a placed in chic velour dust bag. The blush and eyeshadows are inside a dazzling gold mirror compact. I have never seen makeup before come in its own luxury dust bag. Not only does the dust bag protect the compact mirror, it also makes it unique and special to use, and who wouldn’t want that?

Blush -shade Soft rose

I have been using this soft rose shade for a few weeks now. This shade is a perfect light pink blush. I think this shade would enhance any natural tan as it has a light sparkle shimmer to it. I love that it comes in it own compact with a mirror, which is ideal for touch ups. The compact is a perfect size to fit into a clutch. It does come with one of those 90s blush brushes. ( does anyone still use these ? I would like to know) I don’t tend to use this style brush, but it is there as an option.

Eye shadow quad – shade Sunrise

This eyeshadow quad comes in four shades. A shimmery cream, turquoise, aubergine and taupe. I am not one to go too adventurous when it comes to eyeshadows. I tend to stick to neutral shades. I have been using this taupe eyeshadow and love it. It applies with a metallic bronzed shade infused with highlighted pigments, that make my eyes pop! I also have been wearing the cream shade blended in under my brows and on the inside of my eyes. This quad again comes in its own impressive mirror compact making it easy to retouch your makeup. Perfect to pop into your clutch for attending weddings etc. This compact also comes with a sponge brush applicator. Which I feel is a bit dated but never the less the option is there for you to use in case of an emergences.

Light up lip gloss – shades Red cherry and Wild berry

For day time I mostly reach for a nude matt lipstick. When it come to night time my favourite lip colour is always red! I love the impact a strong red lip makes! Gloss for me gives me terrible flash backs to being a teenager wearing way too much sticky pink gloss and all my hair been stuck to it. sigh… It turns out lip gloss has come along since my teenager days. First off this lip gloss has it very own mirror on the side of the tube. Built into the wand is a LED light making it possible to get that beach beautiful look on the go. Having its own mirror and light makes application easy anywhere you are. It does not leave my lips feeling sticky which is my pet peeve. It has light reflecting particles making your smile stand out. You could wear these on their own as they are a tinted gloss or double up on top of your favourite matt lipstick. It leaves a peppermint taste for sea breeze feel.
